Safety and Security

At Club Taxis we pride ourselves on the safety record of our drivers as well as the safety and security we offer our customers.

All of our drivers adhere to the strictest taxi driver laws. They undergo regular criminal records checks, as well as medical and driving standard checks.

Our drivers undergo extensive drivers safety tests before they are allowed to drive for us. This also includes medical tests to ensure they are in a fit enough condition to drive.

Each driver also MUST obtain a full Taxi Drivers Badge (issued by the Council) before they begin driving for us. Each car undergoes at least 2 MOT type tests per year to ensure that they are in prime condition. We also have our own team of mechanics to ensure that any problem is fixed immediately.

Each vehicle is fitted with seat belts for all passengers and Club Taxis operates a non smoking policy for all of our cars.

The average age of our vehicles is four years and when you add all this up it means that the Club Taxi fleet one of the newest and safest on Leicester's roads.
